Terms of service
Last updated October 5, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and OliOps, run by Eric Radle as a sole proprietor ("we", "us"). They cover oliops.com and the work we do for you. We've kept them short and plain. If anything is unclear, email hello@oliops.com.
1. What OliOps is
We plan, build and run the technical side of your business, one build at a time. A build is about a day of our work, made and run for you: for example a booking page, an email series, a dashboard or a small automation. Everything we do for you shows up in your private OliOps feed.
How we work: we're a small team that works with AI agents. People plan with you and check the work; agents do much of the building.
2. Your account
- You need an account to use OliOps beyond browsing. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give us accurate information, and tell us if it changes.
- You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms for yourself or your business.
3. Plans and what's included
- Free includes a setup call, research on your business and a first roadmap. No card needed.
- Paid plans (Rung 1, 2 and 3) include a set pace of builds and meetings, as shown on our Plans page when you sign up. Custom plans are agreed with you directly.
- Pace: builds are counted per billing month. Unused builds don't roll over, except that one build can carry into the next month.
- One build at a time, and a build starts once we have what we need from you (for example access to a tool or a short brief). While we wait, we may start the next ready build.
- Big requests may be split into several builds or quoted separately.
4. Billing and renewal
- Paid plans are billed monthly, in advance, through our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. The price and renewal date are shown before you pay and in Account.
- Changing plans: upgrades start right away, and you pay only the difference for the rest of the month. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails, our payment processor will retry and email you. If it still can't be collected, your plan moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.
- Taxes: prices don't include any sales tax that may apply. If we're required to charge it, it will be shown before you pay.
5. Refunds
- Rung 1: if your first paid month isn't right for you, email hello@oliops.com within 30 days of your first payment, and we'll refund that month in full. This applies once per customer, to your first Rung 1 month. We make refunds on request; there's no automatic refund.
- Rung 2, Rung 3 and Custom plans: payments aren't refundable.
- Every plan can be cancelled anytime, and runs to the end of the month you've paid for.
6. Pause
You can pause a paid plan for 1, 2 or 3 months from Account. While paused:
- billing stops;
- new builds and plan calls stop;
- you keep your feed, chat and everything already built.
The days left in your current period are saved and added when you come back. You can resume early anytime.
7. Cancelling
- Cancel anytime in Account → Your plan → Cancel my plan. No calls, no forms. You can change your mind with Keep my plan until the period ends.
- Your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for, then moves to Free.
- We don't refund partial months, apart from the Rung 1 first-month refund above.
- You keep your feed, your roadmap, and everything we built in your own accounts. Small pages or forms that we host for you keep running for 30 days after your plan ends, then we switch them off, after a hand-over post with what you need to keep them going yourself.
- Come back anytime. Your roadmap will still be there.
8. Price changes
Our prices are launch prices and may change. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects you, and the new price applies from your next renewal after that. If you don't want to continue, you can cancel before then.
9. Your accounts, access and approvals
- We build in your accounts and tools wherever we can. You add team@oliops.com as a user or manager. We'll never ask for your passwords.
- You're responsible for the accounts you give us access to, and for having the right to give that access.
- We'll ask before doing anything that costs you money or that's hard to undo, like sending messages to your customers or changing a live payment setup.
- You can remove our access at any time.
- Accounting software: connecting your accounting software is optional, and you can disconnect it anytime. Nothing is posted to your books until you approve it. Your accounting software's own terms apply to your account with it.
10. Who owns what
- You own your business information, your content, and the builds we make for you, including anything we set up in your accounts.
- We keep our own know-how, templates, tools and methods, and our software (including the OliOps app). We may reuse general approaches we learn, but never your confidential information.
- You let us use your content only to do the work for you.
11. Confidentiality
We keep your non-public business information confidential and use it only to work for you. We share it only with the service providers we need to run OliOps (see our Privacy page), and never sell it.
12. What we promise, and what we don't
- We'll do the work with care and keep you informed in your feed.
- We can't promise particular business results (more sales, bookings or savings). Many things outside our control affect those.
- Tools we use or connect to (like your sign-in account, our payment processor or your website host) have their own terms and occasional outages. We're not responsible for them.
13. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows:
- neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, like lost profits or lost data;
- our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
14. Using OliOps fairly
Don't use OliOps to break the law, harm others, send spam, or try to break into or overload our systems. We may suspend or close an account that does, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.
15. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or in your feed at least 30 days before the change applies. Continuing to use OliOps after that means you accept the new terms.
16. The legal bits
- These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, USA.
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- These terms, plus anything we agree in writing for a Custom plan, are the whole agreement between us.
